Assisted Traveling Program

Exploring new destinations and creating lasting memories!

Many children or teens experiencing a disability have never had the opportunity to experience the feeling of traveling to a new place and exploring new surroundings (without mom or dad).

The San Diego Xcite Steps traveling program gives participants the support and independence from parents to build memories of their own with friends and mentors whom they trust. Participants gain an unforgettable experience with people of similar needs and interests.

Requirements

The traveling club is open to students who have been a part of at least one 8-week social club session. This ensures that the student gets introduced to other kids in our program and our mentors. This also gives us the opportunity to learn about the needs of the individual to ensure a positive traveling experience.
