Jr Counselor Job Program

The Junior Counselor Job program is for teens and young adults in San Diego who are interested in developing job skills. The program will interview, hire and train the individuals participating in this program to work with younger kids as a junior counselor. In this program teens get real life experience of having responsibilities, getting paid for their work and benefit from the increased self-esteem and confidence that comes with having a job. Simultaneously they are in a nurturing environment where XciteSteps Staff members can support them in doing their best, following their job description and making a difference in another child’s life.
