The Steps Up Club is an opportunity for teens who experience mild cognitive disabilities such as aspergers, high functioning autism, PDD-NOS, MDD, CDD, social anxieties or minor disabilities to be part of a social club. The club provides a safe, encouraging, and non-judgmental environment that allows its participants to open up and be themselves. Community integration, friendship building, and social awareness are the main objectives of the Club. We will focus on socially appropriate behaviors through role modeling and positive reinforcement. The club is designed to provide exciting and creative activities to support the interests of its participants.
