Xcite Steps programs offer a way for children, teens, and adults to gain valuable social and individual skills. The “Xcite! Way” inspires participants to think positively and encourages self-motivation. Instructors identify our participant’s strengths and weaknesses so that they can effectively utilize natural talent while developing weaker areas. Our approach helps participants become well rounded and motivated individuals.

Making friends
Some of the challenges put forth in a person with a disability can be making friends. We understand the frustration and disappointments this may cause for your child. One of the skill sets we strive to implement in our students is the ability to have healthy, natural, and rewarding friendships. Xcite Steps believes that our weekend activities, sports teams and other extracurricular programs provide for a vigorous environment in which participants can make friends with individuals in the same community. It is our goal to provide our members with a strong foundation so that they feel comfortable interacting with their new friends both in and outside of the Xcite Steps program.
